Non-programmable calculators and statistical software are allowed during quizzes (no aid sheets).

One 8.5 x 11 inch aid sheet (both sides) allowed during mid-term and final exam.

The best 4 of 5 quizzes will be used to compute your final grade. If you miss a quiz, your mark for that quiz is zero. You may reschedule a quiz only if a valid reason is provided. It is your responsibility to know the material for the quizzes. No make-up tests or essays will substitute for the quizzes.

The recommended software to use during quizzes is Minitab. Other software is permissible including non-programmable calculators. Tutorials will be used to show you how to use Minitab to solve statistical problems.

There are no out-of-class activities planned.

There are no classes on February 15, 17 and 19 (reading week) and April 2 (Good Friday).

There are no labs on March 4 and 5 since the midterm is on March 5.

Note: Should extraneous circumstances warrant your application and subsequent completion of a deferred final exam in this course, you will be writing a final exam that will be made up by the Statistics 213 course coordinator. This may or may not be your 213 instructor.
