and statistical software are allowed during quizzes (no aid sheets).
One 8.5 x 11
inch aid sheet (both sides) allowed during mid-term and final exam.
The best 4
of 5 quizzes will be used to compute your final grade. If you miss a quiz, your
mark for that quiz is zero. You may reschedule a quiz only if a valid reason is
provided. It is your responsibility to know the material for the quizzes. No
make-up tests or essays will substitute for the quizzes.
The
recommended software to use during quizzes is Minitab. Other software is
permissible including non-programmable calculators. Tutorials will be used to
show you how to use Minitab to solve statistical problems.
There are
no out-of-class activities planned.
There is no class on May 19 (Victoria Day).
There is no lab on June 5 (reading day).
